The upcoming week 3 NFL schedule should be by far the best we've seen so far. After 2 NFL weeks put behind us, we look for another entertaining week in the NFL schedule. Just about every scheduled nationally televised game has been a good one, from the opening Sunday night and Monday night games all coming down to the final drive. Same with this past Sunday night and Monday night football games.

Taking a look at this week's schedule, I can safely say there are already some NFL winners and predictions brewing. First off, the teams that are in must-win situations, aren't always what they seem. These teams are very over-valued and may tend to fail at covering the spread in their third game. A win is a must, but a cover may not be in the cards for week 3 NFL betting. Tennessee heads the top of this list, along with Carolina, and now Miami. The Dolphins lost two tough games, and have some division games upcoming. Their schedule is brutal over the next 5 weeks, and they need a win this week in the worst way. The good thing for Miami bettors here, is that they are opening at books as a 6 point underdog against the spread. In a must win situation against a team that does not look all that good, may make for a strong wager on Sunday. As for the Titans, well at 0-2, in 2 tightly contested ball games, they are underdogs in NY getting 1 point against the spread. They surely remember last season's loss to the Jets and revenge is in the air. Also look at the Jets. They covered against the spread in the first two weeks as dogs, now are favored. Last year they did the impossible beating Tennessee but then fell out of touch and dropped their following several games killing their season. After the big win this weekend, look for them to be brought back to reality with a home loss to a better Titans team. Lastly, Carolina, who had a strong '08 season, getting whipped in the playoffs, now continuing that debacle in the '09 season. The have lost both against the spread this season and face a Cowboy team who is hungry for a win after a home loss last week. Chances are the Panthers will go 0-3 to start the year, but may pick up a cover against the spread here.
